Orders
How do I place an order?
Choose your piece, select the size or length where applicable, add it to your basket and follow the secure checkout. You will receive an order confirmation by e-mail straight away, and a second e-mail with tracking once your parcel has been dispatched.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, as long as it hasn't been dispatched. We process orders within 1 - 2 business days, so please contact us as soon as possible with your order number. Once an order has left us you can still return it under our Returns & Refund Policy.
Do I need an account to order?
No - you can check out as a guest. Creating an account lets you track orders, save addresses and speed up future checkouts.
Can you gift-wrap my order?
Every piece arrives in a Bellseum pouch and gift box as standard. Add a note at checkout if the order is a gift and we will leave the invoice out of the parcel.
Shipping
How much is delivery and how long does it take?
Delivery is free on every order - there is no minimum spend. Parcels are sent by Royal Mail Tracked and arrive in 5–7 business days after dispatch (6–9 business days in total, including our 1 - 2 day processing time). Orders placed before 14:00 GMT/BST on a business day are processed the same day. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Not at the moment - we currently deliver within the United Kingdom only, including Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. Only UK addresses can be selected at checkout.
How can I track my order?
Your dispatch e-mail contains a tracking number and link. If tracking hasn't updated within a few days of dispatch, get in touch and we will check with the carrier.
Returns and exchanges
What is your returns policy?
You have a statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and on top of that we offer a voluntary 30-day returns period from the day you receive your order. Items returned under the voluntary policy should be unworn and in their original pouch or box. There are no restocking fees. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.
Can I return earrings?
For hygiene reasons, pierced earrings can only be returned under our voluntary 30-day policy if they are unworn with the hygiene seal intact. Faulty earrings can always be returned, and your statutory rights are not affected.
Can I exchange for a different size or length?
Yes. Contact us with your order number and the size, length or finish you would like instead. Once your original item reaches us we send the replacement free of charge within the UK.
Who pays for return postage?
You cover the cost of returning an item for a change of mind. If the item is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we cover the return postage in full.
When will I get my refund?
Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5 business days of the return reaching us. Your bank may take a further 3 - 5 business days to show the credit.
Materials and care
What are your pieces made from?
We use three materials: 18ct gold plating over stainless steel or sterling silver, solid 925 sterling silver, and 316L stainless steel. The exact material is stated on every product page. All our jewellery is nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
Will gold-plated jewellery tarnish?
All plated jewellery will eventually show wear, but with care ours keeps its colour for a long time. Put jewellery on last after perfume, lotion and hairspray; take it off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping; and store it in its pouch away from moisture. Wipe it with the polishing cloth included in your order after wearing. Stainless steel and rhodium-plated silver are the most tarnish-resistant options for everyday wear.
Is your jewellery suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Our pieces are nickel-free, and our stainless steel is 316L surgical grade, which is widely used for sensitive ears and new piercings.
Is your jewellery waterproof?
Stainless steel pieces can handle the occasional splash without damage. We recommend keeping gold-plated and sterling silver pieces dry to preserve the finish.
Sizing
How do I find my ring size?
Our rings use UK letter sizes (for example L, M, N, P). To measure, wrap a strip of paper snugly around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres - that is your circumference. As a guide: 52 mm = L, 54 mm = N, 56 mm = P, 58 mm = Q1/2, 60 mm = S. Measure at the end of the day when fingers are at their largest, and size up if the knuckle is wider than the base. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one. Still unsure? E-mail us and we will help.
What chain length should I choose?
40 - 42 cm sits at the collarbone, 45 cm just below it, and 50 cm or longer is ideal for layering. Most of our necklaces include an extender so you can adjust the length by a few centimetres.
Payments
Which payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are taken in pounds sterling (GBP) through our secure encrypted checkout. See our Payment Policy for more.
When is my card charged?
Your payment method is charged when you complete your order at checkout.
Are there any taxes or extra fees?
No. The price shown is the price you pay: all prices include VAT, and no delivery or handling charges are added at checkout.
