About Bellseum
Bellseum is a UK jewellery label based in Chester, creating everyday pieces with a fine-jewellery look - necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets designed to be worn from morning coffee to last orders, and to still look good the next day.
Why we started
We started Bellseum with a simple frustration: the jewellery we loved to wear every day was either far too expensive to treat casually, or so cheaply made that it turned green after a week. We wanted the middle ground - pieces that look and feel considered, use honest materials, and are priced so you can build a collection rather than save up for a single item.
Everything we sell is chosen by a small team who wear the pieces themselves. If a chain kinks, a clasp sticks or a plating dulls too fast in our own testing, it doesn't make it onto the site.
Our materials
- Gold-plated: a thick layer of 18ct gold over a stainless steel or sterling silver base. With sensible care, our plating keeps its warm colour for a long time - see our FAQ for care tips.
- Sterling silver (925): solid silver stamped 925, polished and, where noted, rhodium-plated for extra tarnish resistance.
- Stainless steel: 316L surgical-grade steel that doesn't rust, flake or fade, making it our most low-maintenance option for daily wear.
All our pieces are nickel-free and hypoallergenic, so they are suitable for sensitive skin and freshly healed piercings. Every product page states the exact material, plating and dimensions, so you always know what you are buying.
Designed for real life
Our collections are built around versatile shapes - fine curb and paperclip chains, huggie hoops, stacking rings and slim bangles - that layer easily and suit both a work wardrobe and a weekend. We keep the range tight and edit it seasonally rather than chasing every trend, so that what you buy today still works with what you buy next year.
Packaging and gifting
Every order arrives in a Bellseum soft pouch inside a branded gift box, with a care card and a polishing cloth, packed in recyclable outer packaging. If your order is a gift, let us know at checkout and we will leave the invoice out. Ring sizing and chain-length guidance is available on our FAQ page, and our team is happy to help you choose.
